The property was listed with Halstead Property. It is no longer for sale.
The house is a designated landmark with the Greenwich Historical Society.
Nelson B. Mead (1860-1929) is said to be the origin owner. He was the elder son of Augustus and Elizabeth L. (Mead) Mead. Nelson married Anna R. Mead in 1881.
